About bb.q Chicken Edgewater Beach

The bb.q in our name stands for "Best of the Best Quality", and that's exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chickenπŸ— is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you've tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It's a tremendous amount of work, but it's all worth it when you take that first bite.

Located at 1103 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago, IL 60660, bb.q Chicken Edgewater Beach operates as a korean restaurant serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under chicken restaurant, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (773) 293-6972. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bbqchicken.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 300 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Chicago and suggests consistent service.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I always crave their chicken. They have great flavors. Crispy and saucy. The chicken is so tender. My personal favorite is the cheesling boneless with Buldak sauce. I have been obsessed. You can tell they really take their time cooking the chicken to perfection.

A casual Korean fried chicken spot known for crispy, flavorful wings with a variety of sauces. The food is fresh and popular for takeout or quick dining. Very convenient, located near a train stationβ€”especially helpful for those without a car. We especially like the galbi boneless chicken and cheesy fries.

Edit: I was able to call the restaurant about 9 days later. They opened late the day I ordered online, but the online system did not have the updated hours. I was able to get the refund from the restaurant. (Be aware that the restaurant does not always pick up the phone… might be better to visit them in person if you want to ask them a question.) Ordered online on Thursday around 4pm. Restaurant was closed, and no one picked up the phone. Same thing today (Friday) at 2:30pm. I will be calling my credit card company to cancel the transaction.

Food was absolutely amazing! We tried a bit of everything and my husband who rarely eats anything spicy LOVED the secret sauce and honey garlic while my favorite was gangnam and the rose ddeobokki with cheese was delicious! Will definitely come back

This was my first time and BBQ Chicken and I absolutely loved the experience. Undrakh was my server and he is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet! When I ordered the chicken and fries and saw the total come to about $28 dollars, I decided to cancel the fries (I should’ve looked at the prices beforehand). Nonetheless, Undrakh served me the fries! I was about to tell him it was a mistake and that I had meant to order the chicken instead but he told me it was for free! It was the Cheesling Fries, and I’m glad I got to try it, but for me personally, the taste was not for me. When I finally got my chicken, the Hot Spicy flavor, I thought it was great! Not to mention, you get a free drink if you come down here to eat as long as you leave a google review. This place is awesome, people should definitely check out their chicken!
